“We are the ones we’ve been waiting for”

by Heather Ensworth

Across the years, I have come to honor more and more deeply the guidance we are given from the Earth and sky.  We are not alone.  We are held in this larger sea of cosmic consciousness.  When we realize that we are part of this unified holographic universe, then we can remember that we are also co-creators of our reality.  We are not victims of what is happening to us.  We are truly collaborators in creating our world together. More and more, cutting edge scientists are demonstrating how matter emanates from consciousness.  We are spiritual beings having a human experience.

This is critical to remember as we move through these turbulent times on the planet. This is a profound time of transition and transformation.  The Earth and sky are calling to us to remember who we are, to remember that we are not separate.  We are part of the web of light and life and co-creators of all that is.
The messages from the Earth and sky are very powerful right now. The Earth is showing us with intense storms that we need to dissolve and open to new ways of being. The sky is gifting us with a profound synchronicity in that Venus emerged from the underworld and reappeared as a morning star on November 4th, a few days before this New Moon. This marks the beginning of a new 584 day Venus cycle and is the time when she has gone through a death/rebirth in the underworld and has now reappeared in the eastern sky just before sunrise.
Venus returned into sight beside the star Spica, the sheaf of wheat in the stars of Virgo.  This star symbolizes the gift of nurturance and sustenance from the Cosmos to the people on Earth.  Venus is the planet that speaks to us of how we are in relationship with others and about what we value.  She is calling us now to be in our own process of transformation and to be clear about our values and to be in right relationship with ourselves and with all that is.

On November 7th, we move into the time of the New Moon with the Moon and Sun conjunct each other in the stars of Libra.  Libra is the only constellation in the zodiac that is not either an animal or human image.  The constellation of Libra is the image of the scales, symbolizing balance, harmony and justice.
Originally, these stars were part of Scorpius and were the claws of the Scorpion, holding the light guiding us into the underworld.  Scorpius is the constellation that symbolizes that transformation of death/rebirth.  Now, seen as the scales, the stars of Libra are associated with the ancient Egyptian principle of Maat, the energy of order that moves through the cosmos guiding us to be in right balance and harmony with all that is.
The New Moon and Sun are right at the fulcrum of the scales.  It is profound that this New Moon comes a day after the mid-term elections in the US.  This country is certainly seriously out of balance.  We are in a stormy time of turmoil, polarization and divisiveness.  So many of us are caught in fear or anger.  These emotions lower our level of consciousness and allow us to be controlled by leaders (in both parties). When mired in fear, reactivity, despair or anger, we give our power away and are much more easily maniputed by those who want to channel our energies for their own ends.
Our country and our world are in a time of transformation.  We are needing to allow the old paradigm of power-over, polarization and victimization to die and to open to the new paradigm of the Aquarian Age.  This new paradigm is the awareness that everything arises from consciousness.  Everything is energy, and everything is interconnected.  We once knew this but have forgotten.
When we remember who we truly are and our capacities to co-create all that is, then we can channel our energies to create a world that is in balance and in harmony. This is not a fantasy, but the reality of what we are capable of if we don’t give our power away and identify ourselves as victims of the circumstances around us.
At this time of the New Moon, Jupiter is between the scales of Libra, calling us to have faith in this capacity to be in balance and to foster this sense of harmony and balance in the world around us.  Mercury, the messenger planet, is next to the royal star Antares, the heart of the Scorpion.  It is guiding us to allow our limiting thoughts and beliefs from the past to die to open to new ways of thinking and to new beliefs.
This is a karmic threshold moment for all of us.  Uranus continues to be opposite Venus in the sky, and both are squaring the lunar nodes, which are now in the signs of Capricorn and Cancer.  This is a profound karmic grand cross.  Venus is calling us to be in right relationship with ourselves and each other and to live from compassion.  Uranus is calling us into truth and shattering the forms of the past to open us to new ways of being.  Will we hear the call?
As we move into the time of the Full Moon on November 23rd, this is when we can begin to see the seeds of what we have planted at the time of the New Moon coming into fruition.  The Sun is now beside Jupiter in the head of the Scorpion with Mercury still next to Antares.  The light of our Sun is showing us that this is the time for death/rebirth, for transformation.  The Full Moon is in the stars of Taurus, in the shoulder of the Bull close to the Pleaides.
The Pleaides since ancient times have been seen as a source for our transformation in this time of a New Age and New World beginning in 2012.  For the ancient Mayans and Peruvians, this star cluster symbolizes our source for the light of consciousness that we are being called into in this time.
As we open our hearts and allow these cosmic energies to fill us, we can rise above the tumult of this time.  We can let go of fear and reactivity and rage and remember that we are part of this cosmic consciousness. We are beings of light and love.
It is extraordinary what the sky is guiding us to see and remember in this time.  Our Sun showers us with the energy of light and love and reminds us of our eternal nature.  The Moon guides us each month in showing us how to be spiritual beings in human form, moving through birth, growth, death and rebirth.  She shows us how to honor the cycles of change.  She is guiding us now to move through this collective time of death/rebirth, of letting go of our old paradigms and moving into a new higher consciousness individually and collectively.
What are the old paradigms that we are called to release?  These are the false beliefs that everything is made of matter.  That we live in a random universe.  That we are separate beings.  That there is no higher consciousness.  It is the paradigm of materialism and consumerism and of the primacy of power, exploitation and competition.  It is the false notion that our planet lives by the “survival of the fittest.”
The new paradigm reminds us that we are beings of light, and that we come from the stars and are a part of the oneness of all that is.  We live in a holographic universe that was birthed by consciousness and is intricately held in that cosmic intelligence and love.  We are star beings capable of co-creating a new world — a world of balance, harmony, collaboration and compassion rather than a world filled with fear, hatred, war and destruction.  The choice is ours.
As the Hopis prophesied, “we are the ones that we have been waiting for.”  We will not be saved by powerful leaders or external intervention or a savior from another realm.
We will be transformed and rebirthed when we remember that we all carry the energy of the divine and that when we live from the heart and emanate that light and love, we are capable of co-creating a new world that is just and fair and in harmony with all that is.
We are the Ones We’ve Been Waiting For–by Hopi Elders

You have been telling people that this is the Eleventh Hour, now you must go back and tell the people that this is the Hour. And there are things to be considered…
Where are you living?
What are you doing?
What are your relationships?
Are you in right relation?
Where is your water?
Know your garden.
It is time to speak your truth.
Create your community.
Be good to each other.

And do not look outside yourself for your leader.
…There is a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold on to the shore. They will feel they are being torn apart and will suffer greatly. Know the river has its destination. The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above the water.
And I say, see who is in there with you and celebrate. At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally, least of all ourselves. For the moment that we do, our spiritual growth and journey come to a halt.
The time of the one wolf is over. Gather yourselves! Banish the word ‘struggle’ from your attitude and your vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.

We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.
