LUNAR CYCLE –  FEBRUARY – MARCH 2018

CO-CREATING WITH THE COSMOS

by Heather Ensworth

True freedom is not the absence of fear, challenges or obstacles in your path — it is the ability to choose how you respond.
(Heather Ensworth)

Courage is the willingness to be afraid and to act any way.

Many of us are still feeling the energies of the powerful lunar eclipse on January 31st. This eclipse was guiding us to face our light and shadow and to move into wholeness. It was a reminder to not get caught up in the world of duality and polarization even though that is rampant in our culture and in our global community at this time.

Many of us feel a bit disoriented by the rapid shifts that are occuring. These changes are happening on all levels — physically, emotionally, spiritually and energetically.

There is increasing scientific evidence that our whole solar system is in a process of transformation and transmutation. We are moving into an area of the universe where we are more exposed to cosmic rays from the Galactic Center and from the energy of our Sun. All of the planets in our solar system are showing significant signs of climate change and profound shifts in their heat and brightness. Even our Sun is more intense in its light and brightness.

We are all in the cauldron of transformation. (For more information on this, see the Youtube video from SuspiciousObservers:”Where are we going? The Fall of Three Shields”

All of us here on Earth — and our whole solar system — are in a process of alchemical transmutation from old patterns into higher levels of consciousness and new paradigms.

What does this mean in our daily lives?

How do we navigate these times of profound change?

New Moon: This lunar cycle (beginning on Feb. 15th at 4:05 pm EST) is guiding us in how to move through this time of transition. The New Moon and Sun are moving into the stars of Aquarius. Aquarius is the Water Bearer, pouring the waters of wisdom and life to us here on Earth. It is guiding us in how to live in balance and wholeness and how to treat ourselves and others with compassion and respect.

The energy of this New Moon is yin — it is about going within and taking time for reflection. Mercury and Venus are invisible as they are close to the New Moon and Sun at this time.

Take time to rest, to dream, to be receptive to the wisdom coming to us from the energy of this New Moon.

With Venus next to Neptune, it is a time to hold yourself and others in compassion.

We need to honor the fluidity of these times, and the reality that relationships are also shifting, and some are dissolving.

“People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. When you figure out which it is, you will know what to do.” (author unknown)

It is an act of wisdom and of love to know when it is time to come together, and when it is time to let go.

Jupiter is in the stars of Libra and is guiding us to stay in balance and to let go of what is weighing us down. It is also supporting us in having faith that these changes are moving us into more lightness of being. This is not a time to hold on tightly to those things that give us a false sense of security. Let go, allow, hold everything lightly.

Feel all that you feel, and hold all of what emerges in compassion.

Full Moon:  We move into the time of the Full Moon on March 1st (7:51pm EST) with the Sun and Neptune in the stars of Aquarius. The full Moon is opposite the Sun in the sky and is just beneath the stars of Leo. Once again, the full Moon and Sun are at 11 degrees (in the signs of Virgo and Pisces). Eleven is the number of wisdom and enlightenment.

This is a very Neptunian full Moon with Neptune beside the Sun and opposite the Moon. It is a time for opening to the dreamtime, for allowing the energies of Aquarius to flow over you, supporting you in

envisioning new ways of being.

What are your dreams for a new world?

As we move into this new Age and will leave behind the paradigms of polarity, power struggles, strife, greed and destruction, let us hold the vision for a new world based on equality, compassion, justice, kindness, and spiritual consciousness.

Imagine living from love and not from fear or from a struggle for power or survival. We are called to be co-creators of these new realities.

The turmoil in the world is the prelude to this rebirth.

The full Moon below the stars of Leo is guiding us to live and act from the heart with courage. Live in the present moment. Act from compassion, and let yourself be a co-creator with the cosmos. The light of the Sun and Moon and stars lives in us and flows through us, helping us to align with this rebirth that we are all participating in.

At the outset of this lunar cycle, Mars was near the star of Antares, calling us to dive deeply into ourselves and to reflect on our decisions and actions. Mars now at the full Moon is beneath the feet of the healer Ophiuchus and in alignment with the Galactic Center, helping our actions to be guided by healing energies and the love and wisdom of the cosmos.

Jupiter continues to help us be in balance and to hold the light and the shadow as part of the wholeness of life. Saturn is grounding us and guiding us to keep our gaze focused on the rebirthing that is coming from the energies of the cosmos.

The energy of this lunar cycle is gentle if we allow ourselves to be open, receptive and to live life in a fluid way.

Allow yourself to meditate, to receive the energies of the living waters of the stars of Aquarius — these are the energies of balance, truth, freedom and wisdom that can support us in healing and in co-creating a new world.
